My mother, Kathy, is here helping Viv yell at me or help taking care of the kids while we work, have not taken any pictures of her yet. I do however have some other pictures of some stuff we've been doing the last month.
Sleep, sleep little monster, so peaceful.
Camille and I went to the mall near here, they have a carousel for the kids, I got to ride too.
You know, being an airline pilot has it's advantages, one of those is being able to afford an new backyard pool and in a covered atrium. It's good to pretend to be rich. No, it's not full of garbage, we have a very active two year old as most of you know...
Ahhh, the joys of spending time with the family.
Once again, Camille loves playing with her dad...
Camille got a hold of the swing controls, poor little Austin.
I still talk to one of my first two students from China, Big Roy. Big Roy is now flying 737's for Xiamen Airlines all over China and around the Pacific Rim, meanwhile, I fly to Wichita Falls, Tx., Lawton, Ok., Shreveport or as we call it Sleezeport, Amarillo, Lubbock.... etc, etc, should have been Chinese.... Big Roy sent me some new pics, but I'm including some old pics to remind you all who he is, because I know it is important to you all....
Here is Big Roy after he got his private pilots license.
Roy in the KingAir C90 sim I used to teach.
Flying his 737.
Just for comparison, flying my ATR, or at least parked on the ramp in Waco, Texass.
Looks better in his uniform than I do.
With his girlfriend/fiance/wife.

Two years ago, out Camille pop'd out, started destroying things, and has never looked back. Today she turned two, we had a little party yesterday evening for her before my mom left today. Today we spent the day running around watching her paint, draw, draw on the seat of my new truck with a pen, and generally just did her best to destroy the universe. Viv's mother Concho, aunt Chachi and cousin Koki were here from Peru, and my mother was here from D.C. all to help celebrate her birthday. Not much of a party, but was enough for Camille.
Playing with Koki and a balloon.
Happy kidlette and her balloon.
Pics with the parents.
Little cake we made her.
Singing happy birthday in Spanish.

We have about 11 days till our monster part deux is here. Went for the last sonogram today to check his progress, all is well, actually got a pretty good shot of his face, the others weren't much too look at. April 12th is our due date, if he is not here by then, Viv will be induced on that night....
If you can't make heads or tails of the picture, tilt your monitor counter clockwise or lay your head to the right. You can see his nose, cheek, eyes, forehead, and a little of his lips.
Here, tilted the picture, easier to understand.

On Tuesday November 28th, 1995 Uncle Eskeep Dad and I went from Dunkirk south on Maryland Rt. 4 to Prince Frederick, Maryland. We went down to the Toyota dealership in to pick up my new 1996 Tacoma LX. I paid $20,553.50 for a V6, manual, extended cab, 4X4 super truck. Today, Feb. 12th, 2010, I sold my super trucko. Over the last 14 years, 2 months, 16 days I drove my truck 282,100 miles or 1,489,488,000 feet, that averages about 54.35 miles a day, figuring off of a rough average of 16 mpg, I figure I used somewhere around 17631 gallons of gas, I changed the oil around 94 times for around 129.25 gallons of oil. Wore out six sets of tires and was half way through set number seven. Not counting the gas, oil, tires and servicing/upkeep, the truck cost me about $3.96 a day to own.
I drove it from Maryland to Florida to Colorado to California to Washington State to Vancouver B.C. to Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Baja California in Mexico, across Texass, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama back on to Florida, it's been to Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma and I am sure there are more.... I drove it to Rocky Mountain National Park, The Grand Canyon, Yosemite Nat'l Park, Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Joshua Tree Nat'l Park, Canyonlands Nat'l Park, Arches Nat'l Park, Monument Valley, Mesa Verde Nat'l Park, Carlsbad Caverns Nat'l Park, Crater Lake Nat'l park, Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, Petrified Forest Nat'l Park, Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park, Sequoia Nat'l Park, and Redwood Nat'l Park.
Drove to Golden Gate Nat'l Recreation Area, Oregon Caves Nat'l Monument, Devils Tower National Monument, Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, Colorado Nat'l Monument, Natural Bridges National Monument, Muir Woods Nat'l Monument, Glen Canyon Nat'l Recration Area, Assateague Island National Seashore, Point Reyes National Seashore. I drove the Suitland Parkway, Rock Creek Parkway, George Washington Memorial Parkway, Baltimore–Washington Parkway, The Avenue of the Giants - California Redwoods, and even drove it several times over the Hoover Dam.
Driven on the beach on Assateague Island, Daytona Beach, Baja Mexico, and near Astoria, Oregon. I drove it to Washington D.C., Richmond, Chicago, Omaha, Twin Falls, Billings, Spearfish, Sturgis, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Kansas City, Louisville, Lexington, Wichita, Denver, Aspen, Vail, Moab, Salt Lake City, Reno, Tahoe, San Francisco, Albuquerque, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Pismo Beach, Big Sur, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Barstow, Kingman, Phoenix, Tucson, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, New Orleans, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Daytona, El Paso, Charleston, S.C., Atlanta, Miami, Key West, Long Beach, Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs, Casper and Gillette, Wyoming, Baltimore, Norfolk, Monterey, Ca., Kennedy Space Center, Florida, Johnson Space Center, Houston.
Had the truck registered in Maryland, Colorado, Arizona, and finally in Texass. While owning this truck, I worked as a Scuba Instructor, Sales Rep for a trucking company, Lift Operator, Snowcat operator, Carpenter, Flight Instructor, and finally an Airline Pilot. The truck came with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty, I past 36,000 miles around month ten owning the truck. My super truck rocked.
So long super truck, we hardly knew ya.
